Continuous Blood Glucose Monitoring

Track your blood sugar. Transform your fertility.
Gain powerful insights into your metabolic health with Continuous Glucose Monitoring — an advanced diagnostic tool revealing how insulin resistance may affect your fertility.

Insulin Resistance and Fertility

Always at the forefront of modern diagnostics, we’ve partnered with our resident Nutritionist, Rachel, to offer Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) as part of our integrated fertility care.

CGMs are growing rapidly in popularity across the US and are now being recognised in the UK as a valuable tool for understanding insulin resistance — a key factor influencing ovulation, egg and sperm quality, and overall reproductive health.

By wearing a discreet sensor that tracks blood glucose in real time, we can gain detailed insights into your individual metabolic patterns and how your body responds to food, stress, and sleep. This allows Rachel to tailor nutrition and lifestyle strategies that directly support hormone balance and fertility outcomes.

This insightful test is particularly recommended for patients with PCOS, erectile dysfunction, adrenal fatigue, or premature ovarian failure (POF/POI).

If you’re new to the concept of insulin resistance and fertility, we recommend starting with our featured article.

Insulin resistance can silently affect ovulation, egg quality, and implantation. In this featured article, we explore how tracking blood glucose through continuous monitoring can reveal hidden metabolic imbalances — and how improving insulin sensitivity may support natural conception and IVF success.

What to Expect from Continuous Glucose Monitoring

A Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) is a small, discreet device worn on the back of the upper arm for 14 days. The sensor sits just beneath the skin and continuously measures glucose levels in real time, sending secure, wireless readings to your smartphone or a handheld receiver.

The application is quick and virtually painless — most patients say they barely feel it — and once in place, you can continue your normal daily activities, including showering and exercising. Throughout the two-week period, the CGM provides a detailed picture of how your body responds to food, stress, sleep, and exercise, allowing our team to identify patterns of insulin resistance that may be affecting your fertility.
