How we support fertility

Care is tailored to the individual, recognising that fertility is influenced by a range of factors affecting both female and male health.

Treatment may support:

  • Natural conception
  • IVF preparation and optimisation
  • Recurrent miscarriage
  • Male-factor fertility

Our approach combines acupuncture with a broader understanding of reproductive health, allowing space to explore underlying factors in a clear and clinically informed way.

Supporting investigations

For those who want a clearer understanding of what may be affecting their fertility, we offer access to advanced diagnostic testing alongside treatment.

This is particularly helpful for patients who have been told that results are “normal” but are still not achieving pregnancy.

Investigations may include:

These investigations allow us to move beyond “unexplained infertility” and take a more informed and targeted approach to care.

Sperm DNA fragmentation testing

At our Frome clinic, sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) testing is integrated into our wider diagnostic approach, in partnership with Examen.

This form of testing can provide a more detailed assessment of male fertility, particularly in cases of unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage, or repeated IVF failure where standard semen analysis appears normal.

Testing can be coordinated as part of a broader, structured approach to care, helping to build a more complete clinical picture alongside treatment.

Fertility Acupuncture Pilot Study in Frome

We are currently running a limited-availability fertility pilot study at our Frome clinic. This structured, research-led pilot offers women who are actively trying to conceive the opportunity to explore evidence-informed fertility acupuncture care, delivered by experienced, degree-trained practitioners.

The aim of the pilot is to better understand how acupuncture care may support reproductive health and conception outcomes in a real-world clinical setting. Participation includes a course of treatments and anonymised data collection to inform future clinical insights and service development.

You may wish to enquire if you are:

  • Trying to conceive naturally
  • Preparing for IVF or undergoing fertility treatment
  • Experiencing unexplained infertility, secondary infertility or recurrent miscarriage
  • Looking for supportive, evidence-informed fertility care

This pilot is voluntary and informational, and places are limited. If you are interested in learning more or checking availability, please get in touch.

Important: this is not a sales offer — it is intended for women already on a fertility support journey.
